About The Position

The Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Specialist will primarily focus on MAGTF-level simulation systems and will cross train into other M&S simulation systems as required. The M&S Specialist reports to and receives work directions from the Project Manager through the local Company Site Lead.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of operational military experience, preferably with combat arms or intelligence operations background.
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps doctrine, MAGTF-level planning, tactics, and command relationships.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar systems, technologies, and operational processes.
  • Familiarity with intelligence disciplines: all source, SIGINT, ELINT, EW, cyber, IPB, information operations.
  • Experience with simulations, wargaming, or synthetic training environments.
  • Understanding of Marine Corps C2, targeting, fires integration, and sensor to decision workflows.
  • Experience integrating data into simulations and developing common operational pictures.
  • Knowledge of distributed simulation (HLA, DIS) and LVC integration.
  • Awareness of advanced/emerging capabilities such as C5ISR modernization, AI enabled decision support, multi domain operations, and Project Tripoli.
  • Valid U.S. Passport required.
  • Must qualify as an authorized company driver (valid license, insurance, acceptable driving record).
  • NATO Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and instruct on M&S systems such as MTWS, JCATS, VBS4, ASCOT, DART, JVT, and other LVC tools; rapidly learn new platforms and technologies.
  • Integrate operational, intelligence, information, and fires data into simulation and wargaming environments.
  • Translate orders, intelligence inputs, and planning guidance into simulation system requirements and databases.
  • Support exercise planning, execution, and analysis, including pre event database checks, system validation, and post event after action review.
  • Conduct functional area analysis and identify strengths, weaknesses, and capability gaps during simulation supported events.
  • Participate in exercise development as a planner and coordinate with operators, intelligence personnel, contractors, government civilians, and senior military leadership.
  • Research and extract operational and technical data for accurate scenario development.
  • Contribute to distributed simulation and interoperability efforts (HLA/DIS).
  • Capture and report system utilization data and maintain proficiency through cross training.
