About The Position
The Environmental Services Transport Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures. The role includes cleaning and maintaining hospital and adjacent-building areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. Work may require traveling from one facility to another. The technician responds to and initiates communications using phones, handheld radios, pagers, and other communication devices.
Requirements
- No education or prior experience is required.
- Able to work alone; frequent after-hours work may be required.
- Able to stand and walk continually.
- Observe safety standards and use safe work techniques at all times.
- Demonstrate awareness of Material Safety Data Sheets and personal protective equipment protocols.
