About The Position
The Environmental Service Technician works in the Housekeeping department at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. The role is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings. The position may require traveling from one facility to another without assistance and responding to and initiating communications using phones, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices. This is a part-time, night-shift position scheduled from 11:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with rotating weekends. A reasonable compensation estimate, including estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.20 to $22.10. The exact starting compensation depends on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
Nice To Haves
- One year of knowledge of acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
