About The Position
The Environmental Service Technician maintains a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings. The role may require traveling between facilities without assistance and responding to and initiating communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices. This is a part-time evening position at Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and every other weekend.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
Nice To Haves
- One year of knowledge of acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings.
- Travel from one facility to another without assistance when required.
- Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices.
