Job Summary and Responsibilities Clean & Care for Our Community as an Environmental Services Tech! Are you a sanitation superhero with a passion for creating a healthy and welcoming environment? St. Alexius Medical Center is seeking dedicated Environmental Services Technicians to join our vital team! In this essential role, you'll be the backbone of cleanliness, ensuring our patient care areas and entire facility sparkle and shine. You'll play a direct part in promoting a safe and attractive space for every patient, visitor, and staff member.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and complete written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to measure chemicals.
- Ability to drive riding equipment.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in cleaning and disinfecting of patient care areas.
Responsibilities
- Flawlessly clean and disinfect patient care and non-patient areas, following established procedures and using the right tools for the job.
- Uphold rigorous hygiene standards to keep our medical center safe and healthy.
- Ensure bathrooms are stocked, waste is removed, and equipment is properly cared for.
- Be ready to act swiftly during emergencies or critical situations.
- Report any mechanical failures or unsafe conditions to keep everyone protected.
- Help us deliver exceptional care by maintaining an impeccable environment.
