About The Position

As a Project/Floor Custodian you will prioritize/manage projects, workloads and assist EVS co-workers. Strip, wax and polish floors using light and heavy power scrubbers and buffers. Maintain cleanliness in all assign areas and assist in any additional janitorial duties as required. Sunrise Shift Available: 11:55pm - 7:55am. Your day-to-day as a Project Porter will entail: Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting and wiping down surfaces. Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners. Restocking supplies as needed, such as paper towels and soap. Reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards. Operating machinery to help clean resort. Understanding and utilizing various cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • To be able to communicate with team members effectively.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or custodial services.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimal knowledge of cleaning machinery and how to use them.
  • Minimal knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to use them.
  • To be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds.
