About The Position

The EVS Lead is responsible for coordinating EVS supplies, assigning tasks, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the casino. This role involves a comprehensive range of cleaning duties, including maintaining assigned areas, cleaning slot machines and stands, walls, restrooms, and refreshing ashtrays. The lead will also be responsible for restocking supplies and chemicals, performing proper cleaning procedures for bloodborne pathogens, and operating various cleaning equipment. Adherence to attendance guidelines and company policies, including the "Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE)" policy, is mandatory. The position requires a flexible schedule, including working weekends, evenings, and holidays, and a reasonable amount of overtime when necessary. Participation in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions is also expected.

Requirements

Must be able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)
Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies

Responsibilities

Coordinates EVS supplies
Assigns tasks and projects to ensure cleanliness of the casino.
Maintain assigned areas
Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor
Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor
Clean and maintain slot machines and stands
Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention
Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns
Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed)
Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood borne pathogens are involved
Clean and maintain areas as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
Vacuum as assigned
Remove trash as assigned
Remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned
Mopping floors
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, acknowledging guests and fellow team members within 10 feet and initiating friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet.
Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
