About The Position

Responsible for the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the buildings. This role involves cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas within the physical building structure, casino floor space, public areas, and utility systems. The position requires moving heavy furniture and equipment, restocking supplies, and performing floor care such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and floor finishing. The team member will also be responsible for monitoring building security and safety, notifying management of needed repairs, and promoting excellent guest service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience cleaning machines like buffers, strippers, commercial extractors, and others
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities to work with personal computers, cleaning equipment and sanitation systems
  • Ability to use equipment and supplies as required to ensure cleanliness, including climbing and working on ladders
  • Competence to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; ability to read and write daily zone paperwork
  • Must pass a background check and drug-screening test, and obtain a gaming license.

  • Responsible for the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the buildings.
  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards may apply departmentally based on uniform requirements). Where uniforms are required, they must be clean and pressed at the beginning of each shift.
  • Clean and maintain all assigned areas within the physical building structure, casino floor space, public areas and utility systems including cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures, dusting walls, machines, and equipment as well as high dusting, high windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, manually and/or using hand trucks.
  • Restocking inventory/supplies as needed.
  • Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or or vacuuming, as directed, including stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors, steam-cleaning or shampooing carpets, and preparing cleaning solutions according to specification.
  • Inform supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Promote excellent guest service, understanding and complying with the Eye Hi Goodbye program.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Work effectively with peers, team members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
  • Regular attendance is required.
