About The Position
The EVS Associate is responsible for general cleanliness across medical facility areas, including patient care, administrative and ancillary support areas, restrooms, and other areas requiring Environmental Services support. The position performs cleaning functions using prescribed methods, prepares Environmental Services carts, and helps maintain clean and safe spaces for patients and staff. Duties also include removing soiled linens, changing beds, responding to emergency spills, and applying proper infection-control practices and isolation techniques.

- Prior cleaning experience in an institution is desired but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
- Prepare Environmental Services carts for assigned areas.
- Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, and mop floors; clean fixtures, showers, commodes, and other items in assigned areas, including rooms for incoming patients.
- Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens.
- Assist with cleaning emergency spills when observed or upon request.
- Apply proper infection-control practices and isolation techniques.
