About The Position

The Evidence to Influence Advisor is a strategic role within Advocacy & External Engagement, responsible for advancing World Vision’s evidence-based policy influence agenda. The role curates and produces evidence products from in-house data systems, translates evidence into compelling influencing materials, gathers external intelligence to identify policy opportunities, and builds stakeholders’ capacity to participate effectively in advocacy and policy processes. Supporting World Vision’s Our Promise Phase Three and its locally led, context-driven approach, the Advisor helps regional and field offices embed unified, data-driven advocacy grounded in children’s voices into national strategies and integrated programming. The role supports National Offices in moving from dispersed advocacy efforts to intentional, results-driven policy and systems influence. It strengthens advocacy integration across strategies, programmes, and evidence systems, applying theories of change, political economy analysis, and data such as AIM and child-led insights. The Advisor also supports strategic partnerships and consistent advocacy monitoring and learning to help advance sustainable impact for children through policy, investment, and systems change. This is a remote/homeworking position within a globally distributed team spanning Nepal, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Kenya. Candidates should be able to work effectively across cultures, geographies, faith traditions, and time zones, and build respectful relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
