The Student Event Associate will support the Event Coordinator with event preparation, logistics, and operational support for school events hosted at the Littlefield Home (LFH), Flawn Academic Center (FAC), and occasional offsite locations. This position is ideal for students interested in event planning or hospitality.

Requirements

  • Comfortable performing physical setup duties and moving event materials
  • Flexible schedule with occasional evening event availability preferred
  • Fall 2026 registration schedule

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with event setup and breakdown, including moving tables, chairs, signage, and event materials
  • Supporting faculty lunches and meetings, including beverage setup, catering assistance, replenishment, and post-event cleanup
  • Assisting with inventory management, supply organization, and receiving deliveries
  • Helping maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of event and shared spaces throughout the Littlefield Home and Flawn Academic Center
  • Receiving and coordinating vendor or catering deliveries as needed
  • Assisting with onsite event logistics and guest support at LFH, FAC, and occasional offsite events
  • Providing general operational and administrative support for the SCL Events team
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
