About The Position

This role focuses on verifying on-property event planning and execution, providing on-property sales support for MSB property General Managers, and completing administrative duties. The Events Specialist will serve as the primary point-of-contact for guests organizing and attending meeting events to ensure their end-to-end experience operates smoothly. They will also act as the primary point of contact for the Group Sales Office and Area Sales teams. Additionally, the role involves collecting, developing, and submitting content to update property websites on Marriott.com. Administrative duties will be delegated at the discretion of property General Managers. The position requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service according to company standards. This includes anticipating and addressing guest needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and fostering positive working relationships. The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
