About The Position

The Events Intern will be responsible for supporting the logistics and administrative tasks that promote the development and execution of all PFS events. The hourly range for this role is $18/hr-$20/hr .

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required - preferably Marketing, Event Management, or Business.
  • Professional experience and event experience preferred.
  • Creative and independent thinker that possesses an exquisite attention to detail and commitment to excellence - quality driven.
  • Highly efficient and proactive worth ethic who thrives when working in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point).
  • Able to calmly work in a fast-paced environment while staying flexible to frequently shifting tasks and objectives.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously - exceptional time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - flexible, energetic, collaborative, and proactive.
  • Operate with a solutions-oriented approach and high degree of client service.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • Creative software i.e. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Events Manager with administrative support and program logistics for all PFS events and meetings.
  • Individual responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: travel arrangements, event logistics, registration, internal communication, event flow, calendar assistance / scheduling, project coordination, and vendor management and communication.
  • Assist the High Net Worth Program Manager and Events Specialist with day-to-day tasks, program planning and administrative support.
  • Assist as required to the VP, Products & Marketing and Senior Manager, Marketing Communications with team coordination and inter-departmental support.
  • Assist with overall filing and tracking systems for departmental correspondence and projects.
  • Assist with department finance, accounting, and procurement needs; ensure these documents are processed according to PFS Finance Policy.
  • Create presentations, reports, and documents using the appropriate research and software
  • Provide administrative support and perform other duties assigned by the Events Manager, Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, and/or VP, Products & Marketing
