Events Services Specialist
About The Position
The Events Services Specialist is a dynamic, relationship-driven role at Three Rivers Park District for someone who thrives on bringing people, partnerships and memorable experiences together. From large-scale festivals to community events, this position plays a key role in creating meaningful connections between the Park District and the businesses and organizations that help make these experiences possible. A major focus of the role is developing and securing event sponsorships — building strong partnerships, identifying new opportunities and ensuring sponsors feel engaged, valued and excited to support events that connect people to nature. If you are energized by relationship-building, creative collaboration and the excitement of seeing a successful event come to life from behind the scenes to day-of execution, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the community while helping grow the visibility and support of the Park District’s mission. Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill two Event Services Specialists, one full-time, benefited (40 hours per week) and one part-time, non-benefited (24 hours per week). You will be able to indicate your preference during the application process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two (2) years related post-secondary education, and three (3) years of related experience in event coordination and/or sponsorship experience; or any combination of education and experience equal to the above.
- Must possess a valid Class D Minnesota driver’s license.
