About The Position

Lexington Country Club, a premier private country club in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking an experienced Events & Member Experiences Manager to join our Food & Beverage management team. This is a hands-on hospitality position responsible for planning and executing member events, private functions, weddings, and seasonal programming. The role combines event planning, member communication, administrative coordination, and on-site event operations. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable planning an event in the office and being present during the function to help ensure it is executed successfully.

Requirements

  • Experienced in event planning, hospitality, food and beverage, club operations, catering, or a closely related field.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple events, deadlines, and last-minute changes.
  • Comfortable working directly with members and handling detailed or sensitive requests professionally.
  • Skilled at communicating with culinary, banquet, service, administrative, and operational teams.
  • Calm, visible, and solutions-oriented during busy events.
  • Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, extended shifts, and other hours dictated by the event calendar.
  • Committed to delivering polished events and exceptional member experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute member events, social activities, private functions, weddings, and seasonal programming from concept through completion.
  • Serve as a key member of the Food & Beverage team and work closely with culinary, banquet, service, and other Club departments.
  • Meet and communicate with members and clients to understand their needs, develop event details, and provide attentive service throughout the planning process.
  • Prepare and maintain Banquet Event Orders and coordinate menus, entertainment, reservations, room setups, staffing needs, vendors, and other event logistics.
  • Be present for assigned events, monitor execution, respond to changing needs, and help ensure service and presentation meet the Club’s standards.
  • Provide direction and operational support to banquet and service staff during events.
  • Develop creative programming that encourages member participation and enhances the overall Club experience.
  • Promote events through newsletters, social media, digital communications, and other Club communication channels.
  • Coordinate event billing, monitor expenses and financial performance, and support departmental budget goals.
  • Build productive relationships with members, vendors, entertainers, managers, and employees across the Club.
  • Stay informed about hospitality, private-club, dining, entertainment, and event trends.
