About The Position

M&C Saatchi World Services US is seeking an experienced and highly organized Events Manager. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of stakeholder engagements, conferences, workshops, and high-profile events, ensuring seamless operational delivery, cross-functional alignment, and exceptional audience experiences while advancing communications, outreach, and mission objectives across multiple workstreams. Working closely with event producers, communications teams, technical support staff, and program stakeholders, you will coordinate the operational, logistical, and technical elements required to deliver engaging and seamless virtual experiences. From webinars and leadership briefings to training sessions, stakeholder forums, and hybrid events, you will help ensure events are executed professionally, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines strong event coordination capabilities with experience managing virtual event platforms, stakeholder communications, and production logistics. They are comfortable managing multiple concurrent events, troubleshooting issues in real time, and supporting both presenters and participants throughout the event lifecycle. This is a hybrid role; however, the ideal candidate will live in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.

Requirements

  • Experience coordinating virtual events, webinars, hybrid engagements, conferences, stakeholder forums, or organizational events.
  • Strong understanding of virtual event platforms, livestream technologies, registration systems, and audience engagement tools.
  • Experience managing event logistics, participant communications, scheduling, and production workflows.
  • Experience leveraging digital event technologies, virtual engagement platforms, and AI-enabled tools to enhance event delivery and audience experiences.
  • Curiosity in technology landscape and how AI is changing communications.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience developing run-of-show documents, speaker materials, event guides, and operational documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with presenters, stakeholders, leadership teams, and event participants.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot webinar platforms, audiovisual systems, and virtual event technologies.
  • Experience supporting rehearsals, presenter preparation, event readiness reviews, and live event execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality audience experiences.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly in dynamic event environments.
  • Experience collaborating across communications, stakeholder engagement, creative, technical, and program management teams.
  • U.S. Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen (required by contract).
  • Clearance Eligibility: Must be able and willing to obtain a U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret security clearance immediately upon employment.
  • Background Screening: Must be willing to submit to a rigorous federal background investigation, which includes an in-depth review of personal finances, criminal history, employment history, and drug use.

  • Experience supporting federal government, public affairs, or mission-driven programs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accessibility requirements, captioning workflows, and inclusive virtual event practices is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, as required by the position.
  • Degree or relevant experience in Communications, Event Management, Marketing, Public Affairs, Hospitality, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of virtual and hybrid events, including webinars, stakeholder engagements, leadership communications, training sessions, workshops, and town halls.
  • Manage event logistics, timelines, schedules, registration workflows, attendee communications, and production readiness activities.
  • Develop and maintain run-of-show documents, speaker briefing packets, event guides, participant materials, and production schedules.
  • Coordinate presenters, moderators, panelists, stakeholders, and support teams to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Manage registration systems, attendee tracking, event communications, and participant support activities.
  • Conduct technical rehearsals, platform testing, presenter onboarding, and pre-event readiness reviews.
  • Support the configuration and operation of virtual event platforms, including webinar tools, livestream platforms, audience engagement features, chat moderation, and recording workflows.
  • Collaborate with communications, creative, and stakeholder engagement teams to ensure event branding, messaging, presentations, and supporting materials align with communications objectives.
  • Monitor event execution, troubleshoot technical issues, and support presenters and participants during live events.
  • Coordinate post-event activities, including attendee follow-up communications, recording distribution, reporting, and documentation management.
  • Track event metrics, attendance, engagement levels, and participant feedback to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain event templates, operational documentation, checklists, standard operating procedures, and event records.
  • Support rapid-response and high-priority events requiring accelerated planning and coordination.
