About The Position

Moby is seeking an Events Manager to own the full event lifecycle, from sourcing and contracting through execution and post-event follow-up. This role involves planning and managing various B2B and B2C events, including building launches, community gatherings, sponsorships, and networking events. The Events Manager will also research new event opportunities, maintain an event calendar, manage the Brand Ambassador program, coordinate with the Finance team on vendor registration and budgets, and oversee collateral production. Additionally, the role requires briefing Account Executives on event objectives, managing on-site setup, distributing leads, enriching delegate lists using ZoomInfo, compiling annual reports on event spend and ROI, and developing creative guerrilla events. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how events drive sales pipelines and support marketing goals, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, self-starting attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full event lifecycle: sourcing, approval, contracting, execution, and post-event follow-up for B2B and B2C events.
  • Research and identify new event opportunities across Alberta and Canada, maintaining a master event calendar.
  • Manage the external Brand Ambassador program and coordinate with the Finance team on vendor registration, payment terms, and budgets.
  • Manage all collateral production and delivery, coordinating with the Graphic Designer on physical assets, in-building materials, and apparel.
  • Brief Account Executives on event objectives, share delegate lists, and collect post-event feedback on ROI and sponsorship value.
  • Manage on-site setup, direct team members, and support Account Executives in client conversations.
  • Distribute leads to vertical directors and use ZoomInfo to enrich delegate lists.
  • Compile an annual report on total event spend, ROI, and performance metrics.
  • Work within defined budgets, source deals creatively, ensure brand consistency, and develop guerrilla events.
