Events Manager

Sensi.AI•Austin, TX

About The Position

Sensi.AI is seeking a highly organized, resourceful, execution-driven Events Manager to own the end-to-end planning and execution of its growing events program. The role covers industry conferences, company-hosted customer events, and executive gatherings, delivering experiences that strengthen customer relationships, elevate the brand, and support business growth. This is a highly visible, hands-on role combining operational excellence, project management, vendor negotiations, and customer-facing engagement. The Events Manager works closely with Sales, Growth, and Marketing to ensure events are thoughtfully planned, smoothly executed, and aligned with commercial objectives. The position requires full ownership of event outcomes, anticipation of challenges, and the ability to make complex logistics seamless. Success means delivering high-quality events on time and within budget; serving as a trusted partner to Sales, Growth, and Marketing; maintaining strong vendor service and competitive commercial terms; contributing to customer engagement, brand presence, and pipeline development; and making event operations more efficient, scalable, and predictable as the company grows.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in event management, corporate events, event operations, or a related customer-facing role, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end event execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple events, competing priorities, complex logistics, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to anticipate challenges.
  • Hands-on experience managing event budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and coordinating multiple external partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confidence engaging directly with customers, prospects, executives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including influencing stakeholders, managing expectations, and driving accountability without formal authority.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong judgment, adaptability, and composure under pressure.
  • High level of ownership and accountability, with willingness to do hands-on work to deliver results.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly, approximately once per month for several days, to support on-site event execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing B2B conferences, trade shows, industry events, or executive customer experiences.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or technology company.
  • Familiarity with events designed to support sales pipeline generation, customer acquisition, or relationship development.
  • Experience establishing event processes, playbooks, and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute company-hosted and third-party events from initial planning and venue selection through on-site execution and post-event wrap-up.
  • Partner with Sales, Growth, and Marketing to understand event objectives, align execution with business priorities, and support pipeline generation, customer engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Own event budgets, track expenses, negotiate pricing, and identify ways to maximize impact while maintaining financial discipline.
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with venues, production companies, caterers, AV providers, and other event partners.
  • Develop event plans, timelines, checklists, and contingency strategies; identify risks and resolve problems in real time.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, maintain clear communication, align priorities, and ensure teams are prepared to deliver successful events.
  • Represent Sensi.AI professionally at events, engage with customers, prospects, and industry partners, and own on-site operations and last-minute challenges.
  • Evaluate event outcomes, gather stakeholder feedback, improve processes, and help build scalable, repeatable event operations.
