Coury Hospitality has an amazing opportunity as an Events Manager at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings, ensuring a high-quality guest experience. The Events Manager will be the driving force behind each event's success, collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver flawless execution and memorable guest moments.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in event planning or coordination in a hotel or luxury venue
Ability to own the details without losing sight of the guest experience
Capacity to juggle multiple events and priorities with cool confidence
Ability to thrive under pressure, think on your feet, and connect with people
Collaborative team player with a high bar for service and quality
Flexible schedule (nights/weekends/holidays are part of the gig!)

Responsibilities

Own all phases of the event lifecycle: planning, coordination, and on-site execution
Craft and distribute detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and diagrams
Lead pre-event meetings and walkthroughs with clients and internal teams
Communicate with culinary, banquet, AV, and hotel leadership to ensure seamless flow
Provide on-site leadership during events, solving problems with poise and precision
Ensure brand standards, service excellence, and safety protocols are always in tune
Evaluate each event post-show and share insights for continuous improvement
