About The Position

ShopMy is revolutionizing e-commerce by building infrastructure for human-led curation at scale, enabling brands to launch and scale high-impact creator programs, and empowering creators to monetize their influence. The company recently became a unicorn, raising at a $1.5B valuation. ShopMy is seeking a strategic and experienced Events Manager to join its Marketing team, owning the end-to-end vision and execution of events. This role will lead the development of brand and community experiences that drive growth, deepen engagement, and elevate ShopMy’s industry presence. As a key member of the Marketing team, the Manager will shape how the ShopMy brand appears in the real world, creating compelling, high-impact moments to attract new brand and creator partners, foster community, and position ShopMy as a leader in creator-powered commerce. The ideal candidate is both a strategist and a detail-oriented executor, capable of designing ROI-focused events while ensuring flawless delivery.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in event strategy, experiential marketing, or brand experience roles
  • Proven experience managing large-scale event calendars and budgets
  • Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills
  • Deep understanding of how events drive both brand and business impact
  • Executive presence and comfort with fast-paced, high-growth environments

  • Prior experience in commerce, tech, or creator economy
  • Existing vendor and venue relationships in major U.S. cities

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute ShopMy’s company-wide events strategy, including: Sales activations to acquire new brand and creator partners, Community-focused events that drive engagement, retention, and brand loyalty, Strategic industry moments—from tentpole conferences to cultural events—where ShopMy should show up with impact
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Design, Marketing, and Executive stakeholders
  • Oversee end-to-end event execution including timelines, vendors, budgets, and production
  • Define and track success metrics, including ROI, lead generation, and qualitative impact
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing post-event to maximize momentum and conversion
