Be a part of the fun by joining Washington's Lottery. Washington’s Lottery Events Coordinator plays a key role in bringing the lottery brand to life through high-impact events throughout the state. The coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events that support the mission and goals of the agency. This role calls for strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in an imaginative and creative space to deliver a memorable fan and player experience.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondence and interact effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating events, programs, or activities that required planning logistics, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and operational support.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and changing demands in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience handling cash or other financial transactions with accuracy and accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze event data, participation trends, and operational information to evaluate effectiveness and support planning and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and external partners, monitoring contracts, and service agreements, and supporting budget and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinate, and execute events including fairs, tradeshows, sports activations, community events, and others as the calendar dictates
  • Manage all logistical elements: event research, contraction negotiation, staffing, training staff, marketing and promotional materials, etc.
  • Build and maintain detailed project timelines, event expectations and schedules, and post-event reports
  • Manage event collateral needs in collaboration with the design team (Point of Sale, banners, additional signage needs, digital assets)
  • Oversee on-site event execution, troubleshooting issues in real time
  • Develop and oversee event cash handling and event expectations programs providing to volunteer staff as needed
  • Maintain inventory of event materials, promotional items, and coordinate transportation and storage, as needed
