The Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (FCMHR) is the non-profit organization that attracts and sustains all forms of philanthropic contributions for the Museum from a broad range of supporters across Canada and around the world. Reporting to the Director, Development and Partnerships, the Events and Donor Relations Manager is responsible for the design, planning, management, and execution of fundraising, relationship-building and donor stewardship for multiple key fundraising and cultivation events in alignment with the FCMHR’s fundraising strategy. Additionally, this position will be a touchpoint for different levels of donors, supporting donor stewardship across the organization, including responsibility for supporting mid-level giving through benefit fulfillment, donor recognition, and relationship development. The incumbent will ensure seamless coordination, effective problem-solving, and maximize fundraising success by keeping the teams organized to ensure that events run smoothly and are highly impactful for donors. They will be a strong and thoughtful communicator, highly organized, critical thinker and innovator, and will bring a collaborative approach to their role.
