About The Position

Shootday is seeking event videographers in Salt Lake City for paid freelance assignments. The videographer captures memorable moments at a range of events and delivers high-quality raw video footage; editing is handled by Shootday. Assignments may include corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings. Videographers use their own professional camera equipment, adapt to each event, guide participants and set up shots, and coordinate with clients, the Shootday team, and other videographers as needed. Assignment scheduling is flexible, with videographers choosing whether to accept work based on their availability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and event types.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
• Ability to work well with others when needed.
• A videography degree or equivalent experience.
• Be located in or able to commute to Salt Lake City.
• Have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Own and maintain videography gear, such as video stabilizers (gimbals) and high-quality microphones.
• Upload a CV and complete the application form; applicants are also asked to submit a portfolio and a brief introduction.

• Use professional camera gear, including cameras, lenses, video stabilizers (gimbals), and high-quality microphones.
• Guide participants and set up shots for the best results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team.
