About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Event Support Technician to support the planning and execution of high-impact, large-scale events and meetings for one of the world’s most respected technology companies. This role blends event coordination, technical support, and hands-on execution, making it ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys seeing events come together from start to finish. This role sits at the intersection of event operations, A/V support, and onsite execution, making it perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments and takes pride in creating seamless experiences. You’ll partner closely with Business Resource Groups, executive assistants, IT/AV teams, and event space management to ensure seamless, well-executed experiences—both in-person and hybrid. From pre-event checks to live support and post-event breakdowns, you’ll play a key role in delivering events that bring people together. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of IT Support experience, with comfort supporting technical event needs
  • 1–2 years of A/V set up and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience using ZenDesk or similar ticketing systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in event planning, coordination, or production
  • Experience supporting hybrid or large-scale corporate events
  • Familiarity with enterprise A/V systems, streaming platforms, or event technology

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics, equipment, timelines, budgets, and support services for company-wide and large-format events
  • Collaborate with the Culture & Community Manager on event planning and budgeting
  • Work with Event Space Management to prepare and manage venues and equipment
  • Oversee end-user support and user experience throughout the event lifecycle
  • Support and coordinate hybrid meetings, including technical and A/V components
  • Conduct site visits for pre-checks, dress rehearsals, live events, and breakdowns (typically a two-day trip per event, averaging 4 events per quarter)
  • IT and A/V teams to ensure flawless technical delivery
