Event Support Asset Manager/Logistician IRES - SSFB
About The Position
The Event Support Asset Manager/Logistician supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will be responsible for logistics, organizing, controlling and maintaining all hardware and consumable asset inventory within a computer hardware/software environment that is ever-changing and improving. This includes asset flow control, shipping and receiving, tracking movement, managing security issues related to asset management, and database development for asset tracking, including data entry and information maintenance. The role also involves handling and marking classified and unclassified assets, coordinating with other entities for proper asset handling, and ensuring asset readiness for event architectures, including engineering trade studies and objective life data analysis activities. Responsibilities also include conducting inventories, logging, kit building, and inventory maintenance within Remedy.
Requirements
- 4 or more years of general (full-time) work experience (may be reduced with completion of advanced education).
- 2 years of directly related experience with logistics.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Must be able to travel internationally.
- Must have, or obtain, an active DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Organizing, controlling and maintaining all hardware and consumable asset inventory within a computer hardware/software environment.

- Handling shipping and receiving of assets.
- Tracking movement of assets within the organization.
- Tracking security issues as they pertain to asset management.
- Database development for the tracking of assets including data entry and information maintenance.
- Handling and properly marking both classified and unclassified assets.
- Coordinating with other entities for the proper handling of assets.
- Ensuring asset readiness in support of event architectures to include: engineering trade studies and objective life data analysis activities (end-of-life, end-of-service, etc.).
- Conducting inventories, logging, kit building and inventory maintenance within Remedy for current assets.
