About The Position

The Safety Team is an essential part of the Capital One Arena experience during events and games. These are event-based positions that provide support to MSE Security, CSC, and Guest Relations as needed. The role is suited to enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic individuals seeking work in a fun, team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Willingness to work in varied environments, including loud noises, strobe lights, heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods without a break.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols and building checks during events.
• Conduct visual inspections and monitor assigned post areas.
• Investigate and report unusual or unauthorized activity during events.
• Screen employees, visitors, and guests as needed.
• Provide a quality guest experience to visitors, guests, and team members.
• Watch for spills and anything unusual during events.
• Use creativity, persistence, “Arena Awareness,” and event-specific knowledge to identify the best options efficiently and accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
