About The Position

The Event Specialist will be responsible for setting up and representing myTalk 107.1 at the Minnesota State Fair. This role involves operating a cash register and credit card machine for merchandise sales, interacting with clients, station personnel, the public, and listeners. The specialist will also organize client materials and station items for distribution, assist with air staff meet & greets and photo opportunities, and maintain a clean and orderly site to represent the stations effectively. The position requires working the entire duration of the Minnesota State Fair, including a week before for setup and a week after for teardown. The role also involves teamwork with other promotional staff, on-air talent, and clients, and willingness to work at other Hubbard radio station booths as needed.

Requirements

• Must be enthusiastic, detail oriented, personable, outgoing, proactive, creative, organized, and have excellent time management skills
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings and daytime hours during the Minnesota State Fair and preparation period leading up to the actual event dates
• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities
