About The Position

The Wilkinson Firm is a premium hospitality and event staffing employer. Every hire is a W-2 employee, not a contractor: taxes handled, workers' compensation, and a real pay stub. We train before the first shift, run a paid leadership program called Captain School, rewrite your resume, run mock interviews, and promote from inside. Our clients are hotels, conference centers, caterers and venues. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories. Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for a full shift
• Black professional pants or slacks
• Black closed-toe non-slip shoes
• Professional grooming and appearance
• Reliable transportation and a working smartphone
• Eligible to work in the United States (I-9 and E-Verify)

Responsibilities

• Build and strike event spaces: tables, chairs, staging, pipe and drape, linens and room diagrams, before and after functions at hotels and venues.
• Set rooms to diagram: tables, chairs, staging, drape
• Strike and reset after functions
• Move and stage equipment safely
• Work to the lead's timeline
