About The Position

This part-time role is a great opportunity for self-motivated individuals who are dedicated to the work environment and can work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This part-time position supports event operations by helping maintain the Farm Show Complex and preparing it for many different activities. The best part is experiencing each event and interacting with the community—each day is different and entertaining! As a permanent, part-time member of our Event Services Operations Staff, you will perform a variety of duties to help maintain facility spaces.

Requirements

Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Experience working around animals and livestock
Experience in large-scale public events

Responsibilities

Prepare and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other items for events, guests, and exhibitors
Clean restrooms, remove trash and maintain indoor areas in good condition
Remove debris, shovel snow, and keep outdoor spaces clear and safe
Assemble, clean, repair, and tear down livestock pens, stalls, and cages
Load and unload supplies, equipment, hay, feed, and other items
Use tools to complete basic repairs, wash windows, disinfect areas, paint surfaces, and complete other tasks as needed
