About The Position
This temporary, full-time role is a great opportunity for self-motivated individuals who are dedicated to the work environment and can work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This position supports daily operations that make the Farm Show Complex a clean, organized, and ready environment for events of all sizes. The best part is experiencing each event and interacting with the community—each day is different and entertaining!
Requirements
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working around animals and livestock and in large-scale public events.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and dusting to keep buildings in good condition
- Arrange and move tables, chairs, stages, signs, and other items needed for events, guests, and exhibitors
- Assemble, clean, repair, and remove stalls, pens, and cages for various livestock
- Clear debris, remove trash, shovel snow, and help maintain outdoor areas
- Load and unload items including hay, feed, scrap materials, equipment, and supplies
- Use tools, wash windows, disinfect areas, paint surfaces, and assist with other tasks as assigned
