About The Position

Somersett is a 2,391-acre master-planned golf community located in Northwest Reno and surrounded by the beautiful Sierra Nevada range to the west and south, and Peavine Peak to the north. The Club at Town Center, a 24,000-square-foot, 9-million-dollar facility, is the showpiece of the Somersett resident amenity program, which also includes the Canyon Nine par-3 golf course and 27 miles of hiking and biking trails. 3-5 years of experience serving
Prolonged periods of standing, walking and talking
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at once
Work requires the physical capacity to work for extended periods of time with exposure to diverse environmental situations and adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
Provides information to help with food and beverage selections.
Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from the bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
