About The Position

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring Event Security to support events at Chase Center. The position checks bags, enforces access control, and implements venue policies and procedures to help keep guests and owners safe while delivering superior customer service. The role involves event-day preparation and execution at a sports, entertainment, or other venue. It is part-time supplemental work, with flexible scheduling and hours under 30 per week. Starting pay is $23.15 per hour, and employees are paid weekly. A California Guard Card is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
California Guard Card required.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; additional screening may be required when driving a customer- or company-owned vehicle.
Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Manage entry to the venue by collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing incoming and outgoing traffic.
Screen guests at entry through bag searches, hand-wand or metal-detector screening, and ID verification.
Watch vital checkpoints for security breaches to protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets.
Respond promptly to potential crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Provide a positive experience for guests at entrances, aisles, concourses, or other assigned locations.
Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
