About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring part-time Event Security team members for game days and special events in Lafayette, Indiana. The role supports event preparation and execution at venues and provides guest-facing assistance, including managing entry, checking tickets and credentials, directing traffic, and helping guests navigate the venue. No prior experience is required. The position offers flexible scheduling under 30 hours per week, pays $15 per hour weekly, and includes training and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a Driver’s Record check may also be required.
• Must be professional and articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Manage appropriate venue entry, including collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic entering and leaving the venue.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly, personal manner at facility entrances, aisles, concourses, or other locations, and thank them at the end of the interaction.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Communicate with guests using a smile, natural speaking voice, and friendly tone.
