About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring part-time event security staff for seasonal work during football season in Lexington, Kentucky. The role supports event-day preparation and execution at venues and provides a welcoming, helpful experience for guests. Work takes place in an exciting event environment, with flexible scheduling and shifts that may fit around personal needs. The position pays $18.50 per hour, with weekly pay. Candidates from surrounding cities are also welcome.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• May be required to pass a driver's record check.
• Must be professional and articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into venues, which may include collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic entering and leaving the venue.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner and thank them at the end of each interaction.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Interact with guests using a smile, natural speaking voice, natural inflection, and friendly tone.
