About The Position

KRE Security is hiring dependable, professional Security Officers to support sporting events at a university in the Lewisburg, Pennsylvania area. Assignments may include football, soccer, basketball, and other sporting or event needs, with both indoor and outdoor work available. Positions include interior event security, exterior event security, parking attendants and traffic control, and event security officers. Officers help provide a safe, welcoming experience for students, staff, athletes, and visitors. The role is part-time and event-based, with flexible scheduling.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, including outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Availability to work scheduled sporting events, which may include evenings and weekends.
Must meet applicable company hiring requirements and complete any required background checks, training, and site-specific clearances.

Nice To Haves

Prior security, event staffing, parking, or customer service experience is preferred but not required, depending on the assignment.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and approachable presence.
Monitor assigned areas and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
Follow post orders and instructions from supervisors.
Assist with crowd control, access management, and parking operations as assigned.
Communicate professionally with guests, university personnel, and fellow security officers.
Arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to work assigned shifts.
Complete required reports and communicate incidents promptly.
Assist with access control, monitor entrances, observe spectator activity, and help maintain a safe environment inside athletic facilities.
Monitor designated outdoor areas, assist with crowd management, and help maintain security around athletic venues.
Direct vehicles to designated parking areas, provide parking instructions to visitors, and help maintain safe traffic flow before and after events.
Provide a visible security presence, observe and report incidents, assist guests, and follow site-specific procedures.
