About The Position

This is a leadership role focused on building partnerships and driving sales growth for all events within the center. The position involves connecting with schools, local businesses, community leaders, and organizations to establish the venue as a premier location for various celebrations. The role is responsible for driving event revenue through prospecting, pipeline development, and closing sales for a range of events including birthdays, corporate groups, schools, fundraisers, and nonprofit events. It also entails creating and maintaining long-term relationships with key community entities, managing the entire sales process from outreach to post-event follow-up, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Additionally, the role involves developing strategies to maximize venue utilization during weekdays and off-peak times, utilizing CRM tools for performance tracking, and coaching the event sales team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in event sales, hospitality, or entertainment sales management
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales and revenue goals
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing pipelines and accounts using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • A self-starter who thrives on relationship building and creative problem-solving
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
  • High level of emotional intelligence with strong interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as events require

Responsibilities

  • Drive event revenue by prospecting, building pipelines, and closing sales for birthdays, corporate groups, schools, fundraisers, and nonprofit events.
  • Create and maintain long-term relationships with schools, churches, sports teams, and local businesses.
  • Manage the full sales process, including outreach, proposals, contracts, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the center's leadership and food and beverage teams to execute exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop weekday and off-peak sales strategies to maximize utilization.
  • Use CRM tools to track performance and measure success.
  • Coach and inspire the event sales team to deliver excellence at every stage of the guest journey.
