The Event Meeting Manager is responsible for responding to inquiries in a timely manner to obtain new accounts and managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction. This role solicits past and new business to ensure all revenue goals (room night, avg. rate, room rental) are achieved or exceeded. The position involves handling a large volume of accounts, typically events occurring in the near term, and maintaining an organized system to ensure all viable inquiries are pursued promptly. The manager will perform administrative duties, coordinate various departments, conduct site inspections, and represent the property at trade shows. A key part of the role is supervising the overall set up and implementation of events and meetings, ensuring guest specifications are met and satisfaction is achieved, including conducting early morning introduction sessions with clients.
