About The Position

Voyago is hiring Casual Event Medics for our GTA region. You will be responsible for providing immediate medical care and emergency response at events, primarily horse racing at Woodbine and Mohawk Racetrack. Your role involves assessing situations quickly, administering first aid, coordinating with emergency services if needed, and maintaining a calm, professional presence. You will also be cross-trained as a patient transfer attendant. Events typically have early morning or evening shifts, and you will be assigned to various locations across the Halton/GTA region.

Requirements

AEMCA, or A-EMCA pending as of 2026
Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP
Valid G class driving license
Ability to remain calm in an emergency situation
Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
Effective communication in both verbal and written English
Safe driver with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector
Up to date immunization records (MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) valid within last 12 months)
