Event Marketing Manager

Basis AINew York, NY
1dOnsite

About The Position

Basis builds real agents that do real work in the real economy. Our agents operate for hours at a time, performing end-to-end work for some of the largest accounting firms in the world. We recently raised $100M at >$1B valuation and are racing to deploy the most advanced applied ML at production scale. Accounting is a relationship-driven industry. Firms buy from people they've met and trust. Basis's events program puts us in front of accounting and enterprise finance leaders at the moments that matter. This role builds that program from the ground up. You'll plan and run 40+ events per year across the full spectrum: customer community events, multi-city roadshows, 2,000+ person industry trade shows, and intimate executive dinners. Each one gets clear goals, tailored programming, and measurable outcomes tied to the specific audience in the room. You'll partner closely with sales and leadership to design pre-show outreach, on-site meeting programs, and post-event follow-up sequences that turn booth traffic and attendee engagement into qualified pipeline. You'll own event budgets, vendor relationships, and timelines. As we scale, you'll build the playbook that makes it all repeatable.

  • Ruthless organization. A track record of managing a high volume of events simultaneously across both owned and third-party programs without losing the thread.

  • 3+ years owning B2B events end-to-end: conferences, trade shows, executive experiences, and customer community
  • Ability to travel 15-25% (a handful of major, in-person conferences; the rest coordinated from NYC office)
  • In person 5 days a week in our Flatiron office (when not traveling)
