Building on the 169-year legacy of The Atlantic, and centered on lively, consequential discussion of contemporary issues, The Atlantic’s events team brings the unparalleled journalism of The Atlantic to life through singular event experiences, virtually and in person. Our event portfolio includes multi-day flagship events, topical summits on a range of issues from education to criminal justice, custom programs, and on-the-record roundtable discussions with leading thinkers and changemakers. We’re looking for an Event Manager to help deliver this work at a high level. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to work at the intersection of media, ideas, and experience. You’ll collaborate closely with editorial leadership and senior stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping how The Atlantic shows up in the world. This role reports to the Associate Director, Events and will require occasional early mornings, evening, and weekend work in addition to some travel.
