About The Position

The Onsite Service Coordinator will manage a dynamic food & beverage program for a client in Alameda, CA. This person will be the direct liaison to the client contacts, Fooda’s operations team, and be responsible for the day-to-day performance of onsite operations. This role’s north star is creating an exceptional customer experience day-in and day-out. The Onsite Service Coordinator is responsible for food service operations, as well as meeting and exceeding client objectives, customer expectations, and financial goals. This role requires you to be onsite in Alameda daily, ensuring the highest level of operations, client engagement, and account management. Monday – Friday; 20 hours per week, with opportunity for additional hours based on client needs.

Requirements

  • You love building relationships and enjoy customer service.
  • You are optimistic in the face of problems and capable of finding solutions quickly and effectively.
  • You are organized and detail oriented--Type-A personality is a plus!
  • You have experience with a food service organization.
  • You have experience managing hourly or full-time staff.
  • History of successful client relationships and interactions.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset; continue to execute day to day existing operations while also implementing new processes that drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising day-to-day food service operations of a client to ensure on time setup and consistent service.
  • Inventory management, ordering, receiving, and restocking of pantry products, beverages, and snacks.
  • Manage client budgets – tracking spend, forecasting future growth, and ensuring all purchases remain within approved financial parameters.
  • Complete accounting responsibilities, submit invoices, and ensure all financial entries are documented properly within Fooda’s systems.
  • Assist the Fooda team with Popup and Delivery lunch programs.
  • Bring a friendly demeanor and proactively engage with client and client’s employees to gather feedback, resolve issues, and share updates. Coordinate equipment repairs as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with client to provide updates, budget summaries, performance insights, and recommended product changes
