About The Position

This position's primary focus is to support the planning, research, and execution of events across the Midwest, with potential expansion into additional markets such as Oklahoma and Texas as company needs and expectations grow.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of timeshare marketing techniques.
  • Proven success in booking prospects/owners
  • Thorough knowledge of Spinnaker Resorts
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent computer skills – knowledge of SPI
  • Positive demeanor
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Past relevant experience
  • Dependability – results oriented
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and secure event opportunities aligned with program objectives
  • Communicate with event promoters, complete inquiries, and submit applications
  • Conduct market research for non-metro events, including analysis of average household income, projected attendance, and overall viability
  • Utilize tools such as social media platforms, Festival Net, and other resources to source and evaluate events
  • Prepare proformas and follow established event booking and approval processes
  • Route applications requiring signature to Director of Sales & Marketing Finance & Administration for review and approval
  • Coordinate Certificates of Insurance (COI), provide insurance documentation, and request payments as needed (W-9 forms required only when applicable)
  • Process event payments and maintain accurate expense reporting
  • Assist with travel coordination, including car rentals and logistics as needed
  • Work closely with Director to ensure proper time management
  • Perform other related duties & special projects as requested.
