About The Position
Culinaire is hiring on-call event catering wait staff at Miami Lakes Hotel in Miami Lakes, Florida. The role assembles, delivers, sets up, and serves food and beverages for on-premise and off-premise events. Schedules and hours vary; night and weekend availability is required, and open availability is preferred. The stated pay range is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. Prior banquet serving experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must meet applicable state and local food-handler health requirements.
- Night and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Set buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to established standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, including plated dinners, and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers, and other needs.
- Clean and pack dishes and utensils; return unserved food and beverages, equipment, and utensils to the Commissary.
- Ensure display foods are attractively merchandised and handle food appropriately during preparation and service.
- Keep display equipment clean during meal service and thoroughly clean the workstation before leaving the area.
- Assist with food and table preparation before events.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, open wine, and take drink orders.
- Clean the venue after events and assist with inventory, food storage, and other closeout tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
