About The Position

Assist Event Services in all aspects of an event lifecycle. This role involves hands-on support with cleaning, maintaining, and setting up/tearing down equipment before and after events, as well as providing assistance during events. The position requires attention to detail, consistency of service, and the ability to fulfill requirements per Event Orders (EO). Responsibilities include setting up equipment, understanding and completing tasks, reporting facility issues, and adhering to all policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules, regulations, and emergency procedures. Maintaining safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions is crucial. The role also involves being personable, courteous, and helpful to guests, maintaining effective working relationships, and reporting to work on time in the proper uniform and adhering to the company's dress code.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability to work certain shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must have sense of urgency and be able to respond quickly, resourcefully and problem solve
  • Able to listen and follow instructions
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form
  • Able to lift and move heavy objects
  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results in a fast- paced environment
  • Able to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative
  • Common sense
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Operate a personal computer and other standard office equipment
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Basic understanding or willingness to learn booking software systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist Event Services in all aspects of an event lifecycle
  • Assists with cleaning, maintaining, setup/teardown pre/post events and be hands on during events
  • Obtain work assignments
  • Fulfill the requirements per each Event Orders (EO)
  • Set up equipment as needed
  • Understand and complete tasks
  • Report evidence of facility/maintenance repairs, damage or vandalism
  • Follow all policies/procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules, regulations and emergency procedures established at the facility
  • Maintain safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions
  • Be personable, courteous and helpful to all guests/attendees
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with employees and others encountered through the course of employment
  • Report to work when scheduled, on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag
  • Maintain good attendance and promptness
