About The Position

Interns are an integral part at Charlotte Motor Speedway, bringing fresh perspectives, skills, and ideas to the table. In addition to assisting in administrative and office duties, candidates will take ownership of various aspects of events that take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This includes, but is not limited to the planning, set-up, execution, and tear-down of events. Additional non-event duties may include assisting other departments with promotional appearances, covering telephones, data entry, and staffing guest services/hospitality positions for events. Interns are the future of racing and events, and are a valued addition to Charlotte Motor Speedway. The Event Department offers interns practical experience in the production, promotion and execution of national, regional and grassroots events. Event interns should be quick-learning and self-starting candidates who desire to gain an extensive working knowledge of NASCAR, short-track, drag racing, and special events.
