About The Position

Community Concierge Services is hiring part-time Trash Collectors (Porters) to run doorstep valet trash routes at an apartment community in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Collectors earn $35 to $65 per night, with routes averaging about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Scheduled routes begin Sundays at 6 PM and Monday through Thursday at 7 PM, continuing until the route is complete. Each evening, the collector visits the assigned apartment community, picks up bagged trash and recycling residents have placed outside their doors, loads it into the bed of their pickup truck, and transports it to the property’s compactor or dumpsters. This is a solo, active, on-your-feet role involving stairs and steps. Paid training is provided, and no prior experience is needed. Paid holidays and a path to advancement are offered for reliable porters.

Requirements

Have an open-bed pickup truck for hauling collected trash on the property.
Have a smartphone with an active data plan for check-ins and route updates.
Be physically able to carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and handle stairs nightly.
Have dependable evening availability on a set weekly schedule: Sundays beginning at 6 PM and Monday through Thursday beginning at 7 PM, until the route is complete.
