About The Position

Community Concierge Services is hiring part-time Trash Collectors (Porters) to perform doorstep valet trash routes at an apartment community in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The position pays $55 per night, and routes average approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Work is scheduled Friday evenings beginning at 7 PM and Saturday evenings beginning at 6 PM, continuing until the route is complete. Paid training is provided, and reliable porters have a path to advancement. On each shift, the collector arrives at the assigned apartment community, collects bagged trash and recycling residents have left outside their doors, loads the bags into the bed of their pickup truck, and transports them to the property's compactor or dumpsters. This is an active, on-your-feet role involving stairs and steps. The work is performed independently.

Requirements

Have an open-bed pickup truck for hauling collected trash on the property.
Have a smartphone with an active data plan for check-ins and route updates.
Be physically able to carry up to 50 pounds unassisted and handle stairs nightly.
Be dependable and available on the set weekly evening schedule: Friday beginning at 7 PM and Saturday beginning at 6 PM, until route completion.

Responsibilities
