We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Evening Utility Worker to join our Dining & Nutrition Services department. The Evening Utility Worker is responsible for operating the dishwashing machine including loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher, and maintaining sanitary conditions in the dish room. May assist on the tray line in the beverage and loading area. Disposes of trash and garbage from kitchen as needed and the cleaning of the trash containers, cleaning, and maintenance of the floors. Delivers resident food trucks to/from various wings. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.

Requirements

Must be at least (16) years of age.
Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.

Responsibilities

Operates the dishwashing machine including loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher, and maintaining sanitary conditions in the dish room.
May assist on the tray line in the beverage and loading area.
Disposes of trash and garbage from kitchen as needed and the cleaning of the trash containers, cleaning, and maintenance of the floors.
Delivers resident food trucks to/from various wings.
Empties garbage cans and cleans them daily.
Checks water temperature of machine.
Prepares dishwashing machine for operation.
Empties and cleans dishwasher inside and out when finished.
Operates dishwasher to ensure thorough cleaning of dishware and utensils.
Delivers food trucks to resident wings according to workflow.
Maintains and cleans food trucks on a daily basis.
Maintains clean and orderly working area according to work flow responsibilities.
Ensures that the supplies necessary to perform job duties are on hand and/or retrieves them from the storeroom as needed.
Consistently performs all tasks outlined on work flow sheets in a timely and high quality manner.
