This opportunity is for a part-time Evening Utility Worker in the Dining & Nutrition Services department. The role involves operating, loading, and cleaning the dishwashing machine, maintaining sanitary conditions in the dish room, assisting on the tray line in the beverage and loading area, disposing of trash and garbage, cleaning trash containers, and cleaning and maintaining floors. The worker also delivers resident food trucks to and from various wings and is expected to understand and embrace Christian Health's mission statement.

Requirements

Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance
Must be at least (16) years of age

Responsibilities

Operating the dishwashing machine including loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher
Maintaining sanitary conditions in the dish room
Assisting on the tray line in the beverage and loading area
Disposing of trash and garbage from kitchen as needed
Cleaning of the trash containers
Cleaning and maintenance of the floors
Delivering resident food trucks to/from various wings
Demonstrating an understanding of, and embracing, the mission statement of Christian Health
Emptying garbage cans and cleans them daily
Notifying management if temperatures do not meet established standards
Maintaining cleanliness of all equipment, working areas, walls, floors, in dish room in compliance with sanitary codes
Checking water temperature of machine
Consistently demonstrating safety awareness by being cautious at all times while pushing/pulling truck
Preparing dishwashing machine for operation
Emptying and cleaning dishwasher inside and out when finished
Operating dishwasher to ensure thorough cleaning of dishware and utensils
Delivering food trucks to resident wings according to workflow
Consistently demonstrating high degree of personal hygiene
Maintaining and cleaning food trucks on a daily basis
Maintaining clean and orderly working area according to work flow responsibilities
Ensuring that the supplies necessary to perform job duties are on hand and/or retrieves them from the storeroom as needed
Consistently performing all tasks outlined on work flow sheets in a timely and high quality manner
