About The Position
This position involves completing restaurant opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools. It is a tipped position. Essential functions include cleaning all equipment areas, locking equipment doors, setting up, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining work areas. The role requires taking orders from customers, inputting them into the Micros POS system, obtaining payment, and providing change. Upselling customer food orders, communicating additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen are also key responsibilities. The job includes preparing food, coffee, and other beverages, including alcohol, and preparing ingredients for cooking. Cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists is required. Assistance in Food and Beverage areas is needed, including busing, cleaning, and resetting tables, delivering food to guests, and general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby. At the end of the shift, the employee must count the bank, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities
- Complete restaurant opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools.
- Cleaning all equipment areas, locking equipment doors, etc.
- Set up, stock, clean and maintain work areas.
- Take orders from customers, input orders in Micros POS system, and obtain payment and provide change.
- Upsell customer food orders.
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Prepare food, coffee and other beverages, including alcohol.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning and resetting tables, delivering food to guests, general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area.
- Count bank at the end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
